Levans (Naga Chaitanya) and Mounika (Sai Pallavi) are from Almor, Telangana. Their paths crossed in Hyderabad. So Levans runs a fledgling Zumba training center that is struggling to attract customers. With her natural dance skills in her Munika, Revance implores her to join. They become very successful in business and even fall in love. However, Munika comes from an upper caste family and Revanth is a Dalit, so caste issues arise. The movie begins with a childhood episode of Levans where his mother (Easwari Rao) motivated him to overturn a pyramid. “We must be able to give to others, not take from them,” she warns. In a nutshell, Levans is too middle class to pay the rent for a training center in Hyderabad. When he discovers Munika's talent, it's like finding an angel. Sekhar Kammula does not introduce characters on a regular basis. We see Naga Chaitanya living in a small room with other singles. Meanwhile, in the intro scene, Sai Pallavi is haggling with a car driver. She rolls her eyes during her job interview and collapses. Her mental health issues were not taken lightly. You can tell she's fascinated by Zumba because she has a natural talent for dancing. The interaction between Levans and Munika looks good, but the romantic atmosphere is not dramatized. it's part of life.
The quarrel between Munika and Babai (played by Rajeev Kanakara) is an occasional theme in the film. Only when "Sarangadarya" ends in its pre-climactic stage does its story his arc complete. Love stories may not be fast-paced, but the themes they contain are by no means regular. This solution is also not simplistic or trite. Kammla brings an emotional catharsis to Revance and Munika before parting.
Song placement is his specialty with Kammula. "Ay Pilla" fits the story perfectly, but the lyrics of "Nee Chitram Chusi" make more sense when read with the story. Debut composer Pawan Ch's music is excellent, complemented in no small part by cinematographer Vijay C Kumar's talent.
Easwari Rao, the mother of the male protagonist, is no prop for helplessness. In her story she says: Her son tells her about her own business plans. Rajeev Kanakara, who plays Munika's questionably dominant Babai, has his own character arc. The interval block is unconventional, as is the scene where Munika betrays her inner prejudices against her opponent. These and many other scenes show that Kammla's understanding is more than superficial. There are elements and situations we've seen before, but they take on an aura of their own within Kammla's cinematic universe.
